Testing - Candidates will be required to attempt one essay (either in English or Punjabi in Gurmukhi Script) in about 1500 words on any topic of their choice out of the eight areas outlined below :

• Current Affairs
• World Affairs/International Relations
• Indian Polity and Economy
• Issues pertaining to Punjab State/Punjabi Culture
• Science and Information Technology
• Issues pertaining to Development/ Environment/Population
• Art/Culture/Sports
• Literature/Media
